Three Rhode Island National Guard Officer Candidates Graduate from the 243rd Regiment (Regional Training Institute)
Three New Members to Join the Rhode Island National Guard
Officer Corps
Narragansett, RI - Major General Robert T. Bray, Adjutant General of Rhode Island and Commanding General of the Rhode Island National Guard, has announced today that the Rhode Island National Guard Officer Corps will be represented by three new members. On Saturday, August 23rd 2008, at 11am, the Regional Training Institute will conduct graduating ceremonies for the OCS Class 51 attendees, at the State House. The ceremony will be held in the State Room. The three graduates are:
First Lieutenant Peter John Morris, a resident of Cumberland, Rhode Island and a member of the 115th Military Police Company. Warwick, Rhode Island
First Lieutenant Christopher David Emmens, a resident of Wethersfield, Connecticut and a member of Battery B, 103rd Field Artillery, Providence, Rhode Island
First Lieutenant Tessa Lillian Baptista, a resident of Providence, Rhode Island and a member of the 1/126th Aviation Regiment, Quonset, Rhode Island
